The VOID are one of the biggest names in virtual reality, with established locations at Disney Parks globally. They create hyper-reality experiences, where customers put on specialist VR equipment to be immersed in various worlds such as Star Wars, Ghostbusters, The Avengers and Wreck It Ralph. With huge success overseas, the experience plans to roll out in Europe.

LUMINOUS were tasked to complete all design, manufacturing, site installation and ongoing technical support. The team were asked to complete a “Sensory Effects Package” to help make the walk-through experience feel more authentic. LUMINOUS would need to re-design the technology to meet European codes and best practice guidelines. 

With the help of our advanced equipment, consumers would be fully immersed into the virtual world with physical special effects. For example, when walking near lava, users would feel the heat and smell the burning aroma of fire. When a window or door opens wide, users would feel a blast of air hit their skin just like it would in real life. All these additions would make the experience come to life!
