We’ve just wrapped up an amazing few days at PLASA and we’re still buzzing. The show floor was packed with creativity, big ideas and lots of amazing people. This year’s event felt bigger than ever, from dazzling light shows to jaw-dropping new tech, PLASA once again proved why it’s a must-visit for anyone in the live events and entertainment world. We displayed on our stand the HYDRA-TECH Digital Rain Curtain, SHOCK-WAVE Water Cannon and our newest addition, HYDRA-STORM Rain Machine.
HYDRA-STORM Rain Machine
For us, our biggest highlight was launching HYDRA-STORM Rain Machine and seeing it in action at the show. We loved seeing people’s reactions when they experienced it first-hand. This compact unit is a game-changer for the industry. Designed to be easy to set up, operate, and transport, HYDRA-STORM makes water effects at events simpler than ever.
To top it off, HYDRA-STORM took home a PLASA Award For Innovation! We couldn’t be prouder to see it being recognised, and so soon after launching too. PLASA says, “A new approach to curated rain! It’s a product that makes you smile. The judges felt that this well-engineered technology allows for cost-effective ownership of rain effects for shows.”
Out of 37 nominees, our rain machine was just one of 7 who received an award. Together with LSi, PLASA puts the spotlight on fresh thinking with its Innovation Awards. They’re all about recognising the tech that makes our industry safer, more efficient and more creative.
A Big Thank You
Outside of our own stand, we were inspired by all the equipment around. It’s clear the industry is pushing boundaries in every direction, and that makes us even more excited for what’s to come.
A huge thank you to everyone who came by to say hello, whether you stopped for a quick chat, a demo, or just a curious glance; we really appreciated it. These shows aren’t just about tech, they’re about community, and PLASA reminded us how strong and supportive ours really is.
