Luminous were pleased to have been shortlisted in the 2022 Tech South West Award which took place in November at Aerospace Bristol under the wings of the last Concorde ever flown.
The award celebrated and showcased the best of the tech sector across the South West region and saw over 300 entries.
We were shortlisted in the category of CreaTech, which celebrates innovation at the interface of the tech and creative industries.
Examples of how creativity and technology have been bridged through innovation can be seen in the Luminous project portfolio which most includes providing water effects for the Opening Ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to stage flame effects in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child productions where SFX became an integral part in achieving the ambitions of the illusions team behind the magic in the show.
We didn’t win the top slot this year but were proud to have met with hundreds of other innovators in the South West.
