We’re often asked about the difference between our rain systems, HYDRA-TECH and HYDRA-STORM. While both are designed to deliver striking water effects, they serve very different creative and practical purposes. Choosing the right one depends entirely on what you want your rain to do.

Put simply, HYDRA-TECH offers advanced creative control, including the ability to create custom graphics using water, whereas HYDRA-STORM is designed for producing consistent, controllable rainfall with ease.

Both systems are modular, with each rain head measuring approximately one metre. Multiple heads can be joined together to suit stages of any size. HYDRA-TECH and HYDRA-STORM also share the same droplet size and nozzle spacing, allowing them to be used together seamlessly on stage.
